We're a custom shop that handles every step of the process. These guidelines are here to help, but we encourage reaching out with your ideas no matter how early in the process you are.

Design & File Requirements

Vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf) are preferred, but not required. Hand-drawn sketches or even a rough concept for inspiration work just as well, we're happy to help with all design aspects. Once your design is pin-ready, we'll send you a digital proof within 24 hours.

Colors — Pantone Solid Coated

All colors must be selected from the Pantone Solid Coated Swatch Book. If no color is specified, we'll match your design to the closest Pantone color during the digital proofing process.

Design Requirements

Every shape needs a line border separating the enamel colors, this line represents the metal portion of the pin. Lines can vary in thickness, but cannot overlap. During manufacturing, enamel is poured into the small pockets created by these metal borders.

All fonts should be converted to outlines whenever possible. Be sure to measure your artwork both vertically and horizontally. If you're unsure about sizing, we're happy to help you choose the right dimensions for your project.

Production

100-Piece Minimum — We recommend a minimum order of 100 pieces. Smaller orders can be accommodated, but per-piece pricing will increase significantly and a small order fee will apply per design.

Competitive Pricing — Pricing is based on size, design complexity, number of colors, and plating options. Once we have your order details, we'll provide a custom quote.

2-Week Turnaround — We typically allow 2 weeks after proof approval for production. Rush orders can be accommodated with prior approval, with production possible in as little as one week.

Plating Options & Pin Types

Hard Enamel (Recommended) — Features a smooth, polished finish where the metal and enamel sit at the same level, creating a consistent surface.

Soft Enamel — Features raised metal borders with recessed enamel filling for a more textured look.

Add-On Services

Packaging & Backing Cards — Standard packaging includes each pin individually placed in a poly bag. For an additional fee, we can finish your pins on custom printed backing cards in a flap-seal poly. Backing cards are available in any size, with CMYK artwork on 16pt matte or glossy paper.

Backstamps — A raised imprint of a simple logo or block font indicating the pin's origin.

Custom Color Plating — Soft enamel pins can be matched to any PMS color at no additional charge.

Sequential Laser Numbering — Ideal for limited runs, each pin is individually numbered (e.g., 001/100, 002/100, etc.).

Clasp Options — Our most popular choice is a rubber clutch. We also offer a metal butterfly clutch at no additional cost. Specialty options such as magnets or a locking black clutch are available for an additional fee.
